Pack Integration
Introducing a new dog to a balanced pack is an incredibly powerful strategy in developing a dog’s positive behavior and confidence.

In many cases, this is where much of what we’ve learned and practiced in sessions integrates and new patterns start developing.

Pack Integration is more than a Pack Walk. This special teaching session begins from the moment I knock on the door and includes:

  • How to be calm when a guest arrives
  • How to practice calm behaviors in the car
  • Crossing Thresholds with mindfulness (doors, gates, car)
  • Sharing space with others safely
  • Setting the tone for migration together calmly
  • Practicing recall, waiting & packing up together
  • Enjoying relaxed social behavior without over-excitement
  • Integration time once home either in a crate or quiet time on their bed

Initial Pack Integration Session

Once you have completed your Initial Session, your dog has the option of being welcomed into their First Pack Integration Session and will be based on your unique needs.

How It Works: I pick up your canine companion up from your home, and will include a 15-30 minute follow-up upon our return where we will talk about anything that arose that we can focus on, implementing healthy practices moving forward.
I will take videos and photos of our first pack experience to share with you. This is usually a highly effective option, as your dog is given the opportunity to be in a new energy and I am able to offer my undivided attention.

Duration: Approximately 2 hours

Maintenance Pack Integration:

Once we establish a pack rhythm and as availability permits, this activity is incredibly helpful in the continuing development of excellent social skills, manners, etc,. You will continue to receive snapshot reports from me via text or short video, especially if there are areas that still need some work or other suggestions.

Duration: Approximately 2 hours

Cost: $35-$45 (depends on their ability to share space, etc).
